Ok so been about an hour since my mishap lol but iv just bot a 1.4 gl so ill get it stripped and ready

What do you mean ?

Your going to strip the Dx or the Gl ?

If the Dx ill buy a fair few parts from you for mine :lol:

I'm not entirely sure yet mate the dxs front window is smashed and bonnets goosed

Windscreen are pretty expensive new one for my Old Gl was £380 fitted they had to make it custom :lol: But you shopuld be able to get one from someone on here pretty cheap or take the one from the Gl you have bought.

Bonnet the Gl one would fit, also the Gl T bar would fit so you could get you bonnet to shut properly :top:

But if you do decide to break the Dx ill take the doors and quite abit more aswell need spares for mine :)

Front windows should be covered by your insurance and wont effect your NCB. You will have to pay the excess, £70 is the average.

Yep phoned autoglass today £75 excess if I don't do it through my insurance £450 :o think al use my insurance !

Its good you can get it on your insurance i couldnt get it on mine :cry:

I got my windowscreen on my old civic for £130 brand new. Not what you know.....

I've decided I'm going to strip the gL and keep the dx on the road as the dx is taxed insured ect and the gl isn't plus its breaks are gone so is its sills and springs I'm going to take all the gear box ect to convert mines to manual also the duel carbs seats panels can anyone else recommend useful stuff to take ? Will the panel between the rear lights that says civic fit the hb if its off a sedan and same with the rear bumper ? Cheers

parts from a sedan will not fitt well certain parts lol rear lights are completly different sedans have the reverse light in the centre garnish were as hatchs dont :D just so you know also bumpers are different fitment iirc :OD

noo i think abit of modding is need to fit hatch bumpers to sedans and viceversa :D to tell truth its all a pain in the A$$ lol i wish honda made all parts interchangeable haha even the seat rails are different rite pain espeacialy when im hoppin to buy a bride bucket seat and gotta mod my seat rails :(

Awww that's not good ! Lol auto glass are coming on tuesday to replace my window.still needing a bonnet and landing panel :/
