Thanks for the comments guys.

Im planning on giving the car a clean and polish over the weekend, so will update with more pics then.

Can anyone reccommend any good polish's/wax's? Ive got some Autoglym stuff but is there anything better out there?

Thanks

poorboys black hole glaze is a wicked product, use it after polish and before wax.

makes the paint look loads deeper. well worth the 13 quid or so imo

shame you're not nearer bristol, i wouldnt mind trying it on a black car.

autoglym s.r.p isn't that bad.

its seems to be all about the getting the car clean

meguires deep crystal stage 1 cleans the paint well

as for wax, i've poorboys, but tbh, if you clean it properly, detar/clay paint cleaner, polish then wax you'll get a nice shine with most products tbh, autoglym isn't bad, but there is better out there.

my 2p was i just replace stuff with something better than the one before. no need to go spunk a load of money for fun.

washmits, cloths/drying towels are worth the investment too if you dont use them already.

and the 2 bucket method is well worth the extra bit of effort - saves wiping dirty water all over the car

TG1 - Will look into the Poorboys Glaze. Ive just got some Autoglym S.R.P and some Autoglym sealant. Already use the 2 bucket method and washmitts etc. Thanks for the PM too.

Haha, yeah, it is a lot of fun on the right roads, suprising how it takes bends at high speeds lol.

Was great to meet you on your mad journey, glad you got back safe.

Thanks
