Generally softer than most, and not too crazy with regards to drop....as in the link/above comments really....they are good for daily...but not the best on track.

Would you be interested in a set of used D2's ?
They are currently on my shuttle but I prefer the Teins I had on and wanna go back to them instead. Possible the Meister if I can do a deal with him for the shuttle (trailing spring rates as it's got a heaiver back end)

I sold the teins because they were only spring height adjustable. I need spring and shock height adjust for the shuttle.
Admittedly the Teins were smoother, but they were twice the price

Yes kind sir, if you wanna pm me or something with some info that'd be grand.

Eibach springs do sound good though as I want the overall balance between track and road - its not a pure track car, just a mere track toy thats also used as a daily, that is until i get my hands on a 'beater'.

Can only find them for a smidge cheaper, for some reason funky power is cheaper than ebay for these :?

For Madge they're £160, for vtecs they're £165. On egay they start at £180.

Indeed. Just something to roll about in to give me plenty of time to play with the civic. A prelude would be ideal

Vulture

Rich, I think you will find D2's are a very track orientated suspension, mine on the EG were very stiff, however they gave the car awesome handling. A lot of people use them on the road though.

Tein Superstreets however, are very road friendly, my mate had some in his crx and they were very road compliant. A little too much tbh :D

To be fair I've been a vulture on all of Ed's parts - bought so much stuff off him!!

cheers T, if the D2s that nominous has are any good I will consider it - I'd prefer handling over comfort for the main. If its too harsh Eibach springs may compensate.

If your spending £200-£300 on D2's.

Then spending £160ish on Eibachs because the D2's are too stiff (they are).

Dont you think your better off saving your pennies and going for the Meisters?

I know £500 is a lot to blow in one go but it will work out roughly the same but they will be brand spanking new, come with 1 year guarantee and replacement shockers can be had for £80, also the Meisters are a great compromise between the road an track, the newer ones come with softer Eibach springs as standard.

You will be stuck if you bust one D2 shocker, they do tend to leak aswell.

you have a point T but I thought £500 for the Meisters was just an introductory offer, are they not more £££ now?

I can also get Gaz coilovers for £450 which are guranteed though.

Just out of interest Nominous - what are the condition, price of the D2s that you have? PM me if its easier, thanks.

Looks like i have a choice of D2, Meister or Gaz!!

Thanks for the help guys, this has helped a lot in figuring out what I need to spend/do in order to better my ride.
