Just went for Verdestiens to T1r's, so far not too impressed but only done 200 miles, they seem to feel abit loose, i'd previously heard bad reports about wobbly side walls and I can see what people are saying.
Go for Verdestain sportrac 3's in my opinion, excellent in wet and drive, there a little more pricey, more like £50 fitted, but you pay for what you get at end of day. You notice the diff after few hunfred miles or so in my opinion. And for english weather there perfect, wet weather specialists, keep gripping past wear bars aswell
Eagle F1'a Ive also heard are good, but never tryed and again more pricey
