Good luck with the project.

I can help but think that the CAF isnt doing much? perhaps if the hole was matched to the light housing would do a better job?

Ok so i dont do the needles but do change the carbs just wondering do i just block off the extra vac lines?the metal tubes?
and the tubing was fitted into the round light piece and i've changed it now to one in the bumper ill post pics up hopefuly tomorrow.
And thanks for the advice so far

heres a few more pics to show how the car looks now.

fiberglass wings fitted but havent gotten round to painting yet as im thinking of respraying the hole car as soon as i can get the body work sorted, anyone got any advice on mig welding for the first time on car body work i've done some very basic things but not much.Also can anyone recomend a good welder to buy within a 150quid :D

pic of how my interior looks no stereo as it collapsed so i just fibre glass over the hole also removed all the speakers.

And finally a pic of the mid silencer i got for the exhaust as i got fed up of going around with a baffle in all the time sound alot nicer now but doesnt pop as much

looking good, just noticed your from Hull, were bouts, what street, iv got a red VT that iv done up, ur more than welcome to pop round and take a look!

I hope so aslong as it doesnt get crashed into again. ill upload some pics of how its looks now tomorrow and hopefully pics of it restored by next weekend as i still have no bonnet l :lol:

An update finally :lol:

My car got crashed into a few weeks ago and so after a while i managed to get together all the parts i needed to rebuild it. Thanks to Gizmo and Momin :) anyway heres a few pics of before and after:

Just a quick update

I sprayed the rocker cover on the D15 and maaged to removed the heatshield from the manifold after hours of wacking the the bolts to loosen up the rust :evil: on a plus side i only wacked my hand once :lol:

started removing the manifold but of course theres one bolt i wont budge :x

also sprayed my front bumper to match the back and fitted the fogs although i havent wird them up yet.
