No Bryan using the prelude lume most of it is plug and play center console+ dash, pump, motor and ecu will be grand just need to sort external and internal lighting mainly shouldn`t be to bad tbh

Cheers lads trying to get as much done before the missus has the baby in November so should be a fair few updates up till then then nothing for a while i`d say

congrats on the baby !

lighting should be straightforward like you said. make something from the old DX loom, get a feed from your new loom.

headlights, tails and flashers all you need!

So now its the fun job of making many many miles of prelude lume fit into car it wasn`t meant to, So set it out where it needed to go untangled re-routed a few bits of it and in some spots it works out great but fuse boxes are twice the size of stock ones so there going to be a pain also to keep good access to them will be harder in a car with feck all interior space some pics of the progress

Image

Image

Blower + heater going in

Image

Image

Lume set out
Image

Pedal box going in to help sort where to run wires

Image

Big A$$ fuse box and bunch of wires i`v to find a hiding spot for

Image

Coll um going back in see what gets in the way of the lume again

Image

Then was board of my mind of wires so started to chop up my old black rear bumper see if an idea i had while looking at it would work and looks like it might after i sand and shape a few parts

Image

Image
see it it works if not didn`t cost anything but time

also started to smooth the welded in gearbox mount and make with the filler on the parts i`v finished the welding on, And i started to connect to interior lume to engine bay lume headlights are plug and play nice bonus

Image

Got a bit more than that done but phone died so get pics of the rest later or something

Thanks lads ,

Is it being rebuilt to a stupid spec taught it was fairly normal spec bare the brakes and wanted to rebuild it from the shell up so knew what i was working with and could gut the weight as i went ,Just want a light clean hatch with some Vtec and the look of a half modded dx so when the 2ltr turbo crew try race me on the motor way duels they get fairly shocked and bet :P

Finally feels like its getting somewhere now after so long , On the plus side found the last pieces of pin stripe trim ,just to pic up the skirts and all body parts are there so can get it all primed at last,

Sorting my shifter box properly into position later so can finish off the interior and finish off the lume and get the bb4 digi dash into place

Been pretty rubbish at remembering to take pics lately and had a little flood with all the rain
but stuff i remembered to get pics of

Got the shifter mounted to the tunnel Cut the hole for the cable measured of the prelude tunnel which i chopped out for this part of the build
Cant tie it down just yet as pulling the motor later so once its back in will tie it all down and see if i can get all the gears

Image

Image

Found the fan and exspansion tank a home

Image

Started to sand the ARC Chamber to repolish it 320 then 600 then 800

Image

Image

Image

Still got 1000+1200+1500+2000 then buffing to go but should be to many shinney when its done :)

So started to break it all down around the bay for the last time so can finish the bay and wiring and brake line and fuel filter + lines to be hide but wont be doing a full tuck more just a tidy tuck cause want it fairly functional not show car r something i`m afraid will be scraped or dinged when out and about

Image

More pics 2moro if i remember to take some
