No thats not entirely true.
You have to have it on private property if it has no tax, ie; your driveway/garage... it cant be parked on the road, pavement etc etc
Doesn't matter about MOT, its just road tax as your on the road so to speak, without tax. Therefore breaking the law.

Passed with flying colours, no advisories either! Even though last year (at the same test centre) they flagged up my steering wheel for having less grip than usual due to worn down leather.

Ow well, we have Vtec again! :D

Let the missions/spending begin!

I'm pretty sure you have to declare it SORN if you aren't taxing it. Regardless of whether its on private property or not.

Congrats on the MOT.

Take it they didn't hassle you about the rear caliper?

Nah, on my way round to the centre I did a few emergency stops, soon freed it up. ;)

I'm glad too!!
It's all about giving it the once over few days before. Replace bulbs, check the horn works etc etc
And warm up the car before it's tested, and give it a little blast to clear the exhaust.

Well thats what the guys in the MOT place said... as they were trying to tax a 4x4 today before it got higher tomorrow.
Prehaps I got the wrong end of the stick.
I know they are changing as of 1st April 2010 for CO2 levels etc. I'm not too clued up on it to be honest.

Shame to get it at the end of the month, but I have a lot to do asap, so may as well.

Last time I bought 12months tax in Jan 09 it was £185, now its £190.
