Some photos from when I met up with EF9 SIR, thats one very clean EF9 The other car there is a civic coupe with an H22A7 conversion. sorry about the quality, my camera doesn't take good night pics.
We didn't realise the colour combination untill after we had parked up.
Some more recent photos
My mot is up in December so I am going to start and make sure she is ready for it now in plenty of time (I am going to book it a month before it is up, so mid November) . I am also planning to fit my new brake set up (finally ) in the next week or two. I think she is looking pretty clean now but I want to get the Fat fives refurbished at the end of the winter.

Yes it was, and yeah, it is very very clean. It is nicely tucked up safely in a garage atm for the winter. I wish I could do that with mine. I'm not looking forward to all the salt that will be on the roads soon, although it is undersealed and I do try to wash it twice a week so it should be ok.Gizmo wrote:that white SIR was at JAE, very clean

I tried to fit my Big brakes today but it didn't go very well.
To start with once mounted the Discs hit/lock on the Caliper, it seems that the disc does not go back far enouth, I think I can fix this by grinding about 3mm off part of the caliper. Is this a Normal problem?
And what really annoyed me is that the brake Lines don't seem to be right for the car, the fitments are ok but the rear lines seem to be too Long and hang down too far. The front ones seem to be the right length but the mounting brackets seem to be the wrong way around and should there be three of them rather than just two?
If anyone knows what I should do then please help.
I also changed the RTA bushes as the old ones were in a bad way, and the other rear bushes (the ones that are attached to the RTA, not sure what they are called)
I may be imagining it but it seems to have made a hude difference, it just feels so much better now, much tigher, can they really make that much difference??
I thought the car had been feelng sloppy recently, this may have been why as it doesn't feel sloppy any more.

Almost perfectly, it has to sit a wee bit higher than it used to without them as you can see from looking at the slight gap above the headlights but its not bad, it also lets more air into the bay which is a bonus.civiccrx wrote:Whoa what bonnet dampers are you using?
Your bonnet is closing perfectly with those ones. Right now, I'm using Tein dampers from an EK and the bonnet doesn't close right.
They are PWJDM ones.
