Car Insurence, Who r u with?

Hey lads, any ideas on cheaper car insurence? what companys are any of u with? Im 20 and ive had a quote on a VTi for £1900 fully comp with 2 years no claims discount on 'elephant' my cheapest insurence has been with liverpool victoria and norwich union but only on cars below 1.6.. as soon as i mention vtec they r all say not untill im 21 :cry:

Well im 21 in november and ill have my 3 years no claims discount then (touch wood) Wrecon it wud be worh the wait rather than takin out another policy? I found £1300 the cheapest wen im 21 with 3 years..

Jus a matter of it i can wait 10 months :roll:

any companys any of u recomend?

try adrian flux im not sure of the price but they said they would insure me when i was 19 on a crx del slow with loads of mods! so for a vtec civic it wont be to bad so i suggest give them i go

That's a lot of money on insurance!! more than the actual value of the car in most civic vt's cases!

I paid £1,100 ish on my civic 16i-16, which is group 12 just like the vt when i was 19 with 0yrs ncb.

I've always been with norwich union - seem the cheapest for me so far!

no worries.
i pay £1200 with no years claims due to me writing off the S16, and i was 20 when i started the insurance 3 months ago - i turned 21 a couple of weeks ago. gunna be renewing it in march. :D

try www.insuresupermarket.co.uk it checks 30 or more insurance companys online

I'm with CIS insurance, if you want a 4g VT make sure they arn't quoting you for the 5g VTi cos it's group 15 not 12 like the VT.

well i got my renewel in this morning and they are asking for £2,100 for 3rdparty fire and theft on my 1.4 gl! i have had one accident but that was in my pug but i think the case got left 50:50! so has any1 got any ideas what i should be paying.im 18 and ive been driving since 14th of feb so nearly a year?????

result i just got a quote back from bell :P
£923 for third party fire and theft, 10month bonus accelerator
so thats half price.
