Just a quick Message,

Myself and a few mates are going up to Pod tomorrow.

I am Aiming for the illusive 13.5 from the CRX

fingers crossed, new suspension, new intake set up and a few extra's hopefully we can beat the 13.7 PB.

Would be nice to see a few 4g's there aswell.

In a word..............CRAP!!!!!

There was a huge diversion in Northampton on the wat causing us to get there over an hour late, so we missed alot of the early runs whic is usally less busy, I struggled to get Grip all day, i tried lots of different suspension settings to get it where i wanted, which i did for my last run.

I aimed to get a 2.2 60ft which i managed but then my shift light bulb had blown and i hit the limiter then missed a gear

i still managed a 14 flat but thats half a second away from where it would have been.

Then i noticed that my lovely smokey burnputrs had destroyed my tires, My front drivers was down to the canvas

so that wasnt to good.

My support driver hadnt turned up so I did all of my runs with a set of wheels, a tool box, and a jack in the car

So all in all a waste of a day really.

I hate to speculate but if i had gotten a decent run form the 2.2 60ft thena 13.4 theoretically would have been doable, BUT i DIDN'T!!

So meh, better luck next time i suppose

My new Dunlops will be here in a week or 2 so that will help with the starts.

It was just an accumilation of bad things really lugging around a good 150kg's more than usual and new suspension.
