can anyone rearrange this to give torque =
Horse power = Torque x RPM

that should be Horse Power = Torque x RPM over 5252

I was thinking you were missing something
Therefore some basic Transposition gives:
Torque = HP / (Rpm/5252)

or should it be
Torque = Horse power x (5252/RPM)

no going by your other post it will be (rpm/5252)
From the info you gave it will be Torque = HP / (Rpm/5252)
Not had the time to double check.

I used something similar to work out the torque of the EF2 before i bought it, it was only 5nm off!
