hi guys

i bought my black 16v civic last year and wanted to do an engine swap.

i thought about the b18c or even k20 but didnt want to push the budget, so my brother said why not an h22a

so thats when it all started.

so far the car has avo fully adjustable coiloves, whiteline rear strut brace, rota circuit 8 alloys in gunmetal with polished lip and its stripped out.

im going to be using the h22a engine and my oringinal d series box rebuilt with an lsd, i'm stil debating whether or not to run itb's (individual throttle bodies) but im still looking into making a manifold to hold them. if i did it would be completely custom using bodies off a honda cbr 1100 pgmfi motorbike.

ive just bought the engine and waiting for the engine to gearbox conversion plate and the engine mounts to be made by bisi at bisimoto engineering in america, www.bisimoto.com.

Hi,

Mikes brother here...Just thought i'd give a quick update while hes away on holiday. Atm, we're waiting for Bisi to get his Poly'd billet mounts ready, and then the H2D kit and mounts can be ordered up. The plan is to get the engine/gearbox assembled, and order up the traction bar and other bits needed, so hopefully it should be in and running fairly soon. We should be getting most of the parts at a good price as I'm using a lot of similar stuff on my F22 turbo CRX

dr_jones, I couldnt believe how mint the GL was when he got it, but i've been keeping it running for him this week, and I must say its impeccable!!

Anyway, more updates soon, once the parts start arriving.

just waiting for bisimoto engineering to send me an invoice for the h2d kit and the poly billet engine mounts!
they are finally ready to order!
he told me hes been really busy, so its just a case of waiting i supose.
gave me a final price... £670 for the mounts and h2d kit shipped.
as soon as i hear back from him i will keep you all posted
