This was just a very small project compared to what most of you folks do, but it took a bit of research to find the part I needed so I thought I'd share.
All of the bulbs in the tail light clusters plus the sidelights and the little side indicators were already replaced with LEDs so I wanted to do the indicators too without fooling around with the wiring loom. The solution was to get an electronic LED/power flasher unit to replace the original one in the fuse panel. The original one is marked as Honda/Omron, type 38300-S5P-A01. The car is the 1991 GL with twin carbs. The connections in the flasher socket are top, battery, bottom, ground, left, load.
Main problem was that most of the eBay units are in a 30mm square case, and mine is a 26mm square case, so they wouldn't fit. Then I found one with the model number EF34L, which is in a 26mm square case. Had to order from a USA supplier so I got charged by the VAT man and scammed by the post office, but the unit is a direct replacement for the original and I now have properly working LED indicators.
