Re: Re: My Llittle Toy! - Trouble with del-sol seats :/
The seats were £40 for the pair and mine are really tatty so couldnt say no. Personally I think they look good and keeping with the colour theme too... something different but everybody has their opinions its good to hear yours and thanks for that link... sadly ive butchered the rails on the passenger side expecting to be able to somehow marry the seat to the standard rails with adaptor plates but it isnt going to work... ive now managed to suss out a way of mounting 3 of the 4 bolts might have to weld the last one to the floor and cut the carpet slightly... which i dont want to do :/ im spending some time on her tomorrow so may come up with a solution... as for the drivers seat i will give that guide a go
Also pm'd regarding the split rims mate

Re: My Weekend Toy! - Big Update
Are you going to swap the complete D15B7 engine? If so, might i suggest grabbing a D16A6 or D16A7 cam paired with D16Y8 cam pulley for some extra ponies?
The D15B7 and D16A6/A7 have the exact same head cast, the only difference is the cam and valve springs (stiffer on D16).
That exaust looks awesome, good work done, keep it up!

Yes the complete d15b7 engine! If I can get hold of of those bits then I'll definitely do it! Reckon I would have to fit the valve springs too? Or could I run be d15 springs? Want to turbo next year so if stiffer springs are required it might be worth doing. Cheers bud just wanna get stuck into it again now!
Re: My Weekend Toy! - Big Update
There's no actual need to swap the springs, but if you're gonna do it, it's an added bonus. The Y8 cam pulley is required for the "half tooth" correction.
The D15B7 is a strong little engine.. I swapped it into my girlfriends EG and it packs quite a punch for a 1.5 liter

Re: My Weekend Toy! - Big Update
I will have to see if I can get my hands on the parts then if they aren't too hard to find or too expensive then I shall do it. The engine I have sourced is one that I know and trust. Currently in an ej and is very much looked after... runs so sweet. ☺
