BARGZ K20 EF2
BARGZ K20 EF2
So I've got this here Honda Civic It's a 1989 JDM import EF2
I've had it for a few years, was a daily at first, then got taken off the road for a B swap. But plans changed after removing the original 1.5 twin carb auto engine, and it sat around for a while. Until I decided to go for a K20
So here we are, I've bought an EP3 donor car, and I plan on making big progress with it this year. So I thought I'd make a build progresss thread.
It's not the first civic I've owned, or the first 4th gen for that matter. I used to have a Black ED7. But it ended up like this.
So anyway, I got me some of these
Apart from buying a VT hub swap and a non pas steering rack, this is where I stand at the moment. Couple of bits on the way down the pipeline though.

Good start for a project! Like the engine choice...
as for the Cable to Hydraulic conversion I think this one is one of the best options: http://www.hushperformance.bigcartel.co ... conversion" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Mate, you are swaping K20 in to 4gen and you have doubts about modifications?Ernie wrote:Indeed it is but LHD only... Altho you could maybe adapt it...2b4u wrote:Good start for a project! Like the engine choice...

Re: BARGZ K20 EF2
That does look like a great product in fairness. And although they say LHD only, I cant imagine the pedal box's differ much to RHD, after all, the clutch pedal is still on the left.Ernie wrote:Indeed it is but LHD only... I've thought about using an EG pedal box, or getting an aftermarket pedal box altogether.

I think one of my mates had a hand in helping build that.
Couple parts from it would be handy.
Re: BARGZ K20 EF2
Not doubts, but I like things to work properly and I dont wanna buy summat that would be £150 by the time it gets here and then have to modify it!2b4u wrote:Mate, you are swaping K20 in to 4gen and you have doubts about modifications?Ernie wrote:Indeed it is but LHD only... K swaps are basically bolt in, no custom mods... I've done 3 already so I know whats involved.
