I need help stripping...... the car! (no full montys here!)

Post by Stu-VT »

I need to strip out the rear side panels, seat and pop out side windows ready for the bodyshop.

The only time I have is this evening and I havent had time to have a proper look. I assume theres a few hidden screws, and gently pop off the panel? Rear seat, clips and nuts?

Rear windows, remove extrior trim and unbolt?

Any help gratefully received!

Rear windows are only about 3-6 screws really easy to remove (i used to take mine off to obsessively clean them) - unsure about the rest though!

tell me about the clips! I stripped an EG9 2 years ago and needed about 10 clips..... HOLY SMOKE MR HONDA!

I've planned, and the screw plugs and odd clips I've been collecting from various trips from the breakers.

I wouldnt be so worried if I'd had time to poke around inside the car before today to suss it out, but as soon as I get home I have to have the side trims off interior panels, rear panel, bumper and pop outs off.

I have 2 hours. I reckon I can do it.

Cheers,
Stu
