Re: Was "MR G" but not anymore
I used a different guy this time. He's probably even better though than the place that done my black ED7. Really happy with how it came out.Marc_EE9 wrote:Awesome stuff Ben. Your painter must love you!!
Yes Lee, Momo super Indy. I got it off Dida as he had it on the car when he owned it. Absolutely love it. I'm having the spoon calipers re helicoiled soon and then re painted as they aren't perfect. Still going to be Milano red but I'm going to have the "Nissin" and "Spoon" writing redone in black to suit the Sparcos.Lee4391 wrote:What wheel is that ben? a momo super indy?

I'll be there no matter what but the car will only be there if it's dry. Spent far too long getting it protected for the winter to just drive it in the rain lol.Marc_EE9 wrote:It will no doubt, but I'm well up for it!

Nothing mate apart from my company Skoda. Got rid of 2 of my lock ups, just got the 1 now and just wanted a nice clean vt which is what I now have. Need to keep saving for my house deposit and wanted to spend more time with the family rather than spending every spare minute down the lock ups messing about with cars.Marc_EE9 wrote:Yeah fair enough mate. Re: Was "MR G" but not anymore
Not much has changed with the Civic to be honest. I have only driven it once since JAE which is a good thing given the recent rain. To be honest I probably won't drive it much until next year now. He's tucked up under a car cover in the garage in the warm
I have just bought a brand new Cusco EF3/EF7 front strut brace, the same one Marc has on his VT. Reason being I'm planning on fitting a 1" MC in the new year so it means extra clearance. I also managed to get an OS Cusco rear brace really cheap. It needs a good polish but it's in good condition.
I have decided to sell the Spoons as plans have changed a little and I could have done with the money to be honest. I have taken a deposit on them already and they should be collected next Monday.
I have a few jobs to get sorted over the winter but nothing major to be honest. New coilovers will be on the cards early next year as well.

Bought a few goodies for the VT recently. Thanks to Marc for the EF9 carpet mats which I have been after for ages. Yes I bought both sets.
Apologies for the picture, camera is busted on the iPhone.
Also managed to get hold of an EF9 centre arm rest
And a random pic of my car from JAE that Chapman found on Facebook.
