Mine are the way yours are now. By the way, the car could use a JDM bumper
Yeah im going to go for a pinstripe but just trying to look for something a little differant,i didnt like the colour coded bump strips as they didnt give the car a oem feel,JDM bumper, one day lol

Bonnet raisers and the black garnish ruin it for me, before that, with the black rub strips it looked perfect, all be it lacking some wheels.

This has come on leaps and bounds!

Love the colour... can't help but notice it needs flattening though.

Been a lil busy recently running around trying to sort out the few bits and pieces on my car aswell as a friends car to..
Just thought id share a quick pic of the cars together... His one is a ed7 with a non vtec crx front end, does look pretty neat i have to admit
Image
So,the updates on my car... I've managed to change my front inner arch liners to some clean ones that i had left from my 1st Red GL that i broke,as the old ones had primer over spray on them..
Next up would be all 4 mud flaps got a set of uncut and straight ones from the local scrappy (was shocked to see a early spec GL being broken local)
Image
And Then lastly would be getting some tires fitted to the alloys i had refurbed a couple of months ago..and so here it is..Finally happy with the way it looks and oh yeah i also fitted on a set of D1 spec lug nuts that i had, still waiting on minor bits and pieces yet..

Re: UK's First Teal EC9 *Manual Conversion Pedal box Removal

Post by R3H4N »

So..now that i'v got the body work out of the way and seeing as iv got the complete manual conversion that iv had sitting in the shed for about a year now,i thought its time to ditch the auto box and convert it to manual, been reading up on a few guides and how to's on the pedal removal and managed to swap over the pedal box today as well as push the clutch cable through, until i came across a problem with the accelerator pedal on the manual pedal box and the accelerator cable cable sits in but keeps slipping out of its place,iv been told that it should be held on with a little clip? but yeah pedal box swap? deffinatly a ball ache :/..

So the stripping begins:
Image
Steering column and fuse box loosened(made life so much easier):

Had fun removing heater vents:

Manual pedals to go in:

Pedals fitted:
Image

Now for the problem im facing..as you can see below the way the acelerator cable attaches to the pedal on both pedal boxes are differant..

Auto pedals:

And Manual:
Image

Am i missing something? as the cable just keeps sliding off,its tight as it should be but still keep sliding off?
