Stripped the ITR inlet down and wrinkle painted it, should clean up the engine bay some more. I've been weighing up pro's and con's of ITB's for a while and i've decided to just go with an OEM inlet. I know the p30 with an ITR TB will out perform an p73 till about 7k rpm, and the ITR will overtake after that. But, my thoughts are that if I'm going to be somewhere near the 200hp mark, I might as well aim for it.

Complete p73 inlet and TB.

Inlet finished. Fuel rail polished and a half arsed effort at polishing the TB. Got a little way into it and decided it would be better just 'clean' and not polished, on the basis that it was a PITA.

Took me a long time but I've found one, a genuine mugen type SS. it's 6" too short for the da's boot lid so it will need extending. I originally thought it was fibreglass but its actually abs, I need to work out how it can be extended, yet still strong and still look OE.

Thanks man. They were for sale the other say as I saw some MF10L's for sale. Then, after thinking about it a lot, I believe they're actually MF10 painted white and sold on as L's. Long story short, the Sprint Hart's are staying for now lol.

The inlet will be for sale soon I think.. 8)

Nice to see them done with flanged rubbers rather than a bit of silicon with 2 jubilee clips if i was ever to go bike carbs thats the way i'd do it.

Inlet runners look very long too, any reason for it?

I thought they were very long too, but that's what length Bogg Brothers have worked out for it. They were previously on my mates Ek4, coupled with nothing more than an exhaust and 421, it would out pull dc2's. The trumpets were different then, and the inlet was unpainted. Those bits have been tidied up, original cbr1000 trumpets have been used, and gold bolts added.

Hoping more so that they fit in the bay now as opposed to whether they're the correct set up for my build.

You might struggle if the DA bay is anything like an EF bay (sizewise).

There's 350mm between the cylinder head and the insulation on the bulk head. I'll measure the bodies when they get here, or whenever the fella message me back regarding them, which ever is sooner.
