Re: 'Lime' EC9 Project *In Primer Ready for paint*
Thanks Muddy
And Giz.. didn't paint it as the primer had to be flatted down with 320 and then wet flatted with 800..so either way it had to be re masked up again as we don't use the masking paper used for primer again for paint but hopefully should be flatted down by the end of tomorrow

Re: 'Lime' EC9 Project *Wheel Refurb Fail lol*
haha it'l be parked there for a lil while due to no insurance,1 drive shaft broken and also the gearbox is playing up so iv just parked it up til i can source a manual gearbox mount for it but hopefully paint should be going on VERY soon as iv decided and bought the colour for it..DanialA11 wrote:i drive past the car almost everyday to see if its moved -_-
Re: 'Lime' EC9 Project *Wheel Refurb Fail lol*
But yeah the title 'Wheel refurb fail' attempted in getting out the chrome lip that was covered with paint when i bought them.. but ended up getting the paint stripper in places i couldn't get into so i just gave up and dropped them off to City powder coats in Digbeth,Birmingham..Top quality work and for a very good price.. i only had my alloys shot blasted and stripped will be picking them up in the morning as they were still waiting for one to be blasted down, did pop down today and get a pic of the over all result..
Paint stripper on:
Doing its work:
awkward place lol
Result after City powder coats finished with them
