Bro them rims look sick and great progress on ur car. Lechler primer is the shizzle btw, we use it at our workshop too ;)

Question - Why not just paint the dam car whilst it was still masked?

And Giz.. didn't paint it as the primer had to be flatted down with 320 and then wet flatted with 800..so either way it had to be re masked up again as we don't use the masking paper used for primer again for paint but hopefully should be flatted down by the end of tomorrow

looks fat in primer just them S*!t things u call wheels that u got on the back atm lettin u down

coming along nice tho

haha it'l be parked there for a lil while due to no insurance,1 drive shaft broken and also the gearbox is playing up so iv just parked it up til i can source a manual gearbox mount for it but hopefully paint should be going on VERY soon as iv decided and bought the colour for it.. :D

But yeah the title 'Wheel refurb fail' attempted in getting out the chrome lip that was covered with paint when i bought them.. but ended up getting the paint stripper in places i couldn't get into so i just gave up and dropped them off to City powder coats in Digbeth,Birmingham..Top quality work and for a very good price.. i only had my alloys shot blasted and stripped will be picking them up in the morning as they were still waiting for one to be blasted down,did pop down today and get a pic of the over all result..
