Belgian 4th gen driver
Belgian 4th gen driver
Hey guys,
Just registered myself here. My name is Christoph, I'm from Belgium and have a '91 civic EC9.
Bought it about 2,5 years ago as a daily driver, it replaced my old daily EG4 that I made into a full project. Told myself I wouldn't do anything to it as it was a daily driver but that lasted about a day before I started modding it
Like I said it's a '91, white and has about 170.000 km on the clock. It had a set of lowering springs on it when I got it and a big dent on the passengersside right next to the rear wheel. And of course some rust issues.
I treated the rust temporary when I got it and fixed the dent last year but my girlfriend made an even bigger dent a few months after. So now I'm wanting to fix the car up again so I can enjoy it for a few more years.
I trew on my rota GT3's of of my old EG and the Wink mirror when I got it. Looked like this for a couple of months.
As you can see the exhaust looked like crap sticking out that far.
Then I made a custom shifter.
And trew on a roofrack.
Then got myself some Vision carbon fiber mirrors

That shifter is awesome!!
If you did that here tho someone would report it and the armed response police would probably be after you

Re: Belgian 4th gen driver
Thx for the warm welcome guys
The shifter gets alot of attention and weird looks , didn't have problems with police yet when it's in either. I have a couple of different shift knobs so I change it up from time to time.
And yes it was a remus, all rusted up with alot of holes in it. I was glad that I found a replacement a few weeks later because it was about to fall of. I took it of and the mounting point just came of along with a part of the muffler.

Already found alot of usefull stuff on this board
I'll make a build tread on my car once I really get started with the bigger stuff like bodywork and such.
Re: Belgian 4th gen driver
I'm a bit of a wheel whore and came across these a few years ago.
And after a test fit I liked them
They where put aside as I was working on my EG and had my rota's to drive around on but last summer I decided it was time to start refurbishing them.
Sanded out all the curbs rash, wasn't that bad so I was lucky and gave them a few good coats of primer.
Centercaps too.
Still need to finish up 1 wheel, had some really bad curbing so needed alot more attention.
Hope to have them all ready soon so I start deciding what color to spray them. But need to decide what color the car is going to be first.

Re: Belgian 4th gen driver
Found some old pics of my 4WD shuttle
On some EK4 wheels
And one when I had my GT3's on her.
Wish I never sold that car, was great for hauling a trailer.
