New Member from Ireland - Project EF2

Post by mark b »

Hi, names Mark, im 20, from Ireland and have just bought a 1991 EF2.

Website looks good so far!

So I picked this up on Tuesday night, its well known here being owned previously by "ef2" and then "bermo"

I was fed up with driving a diesel and wanted to get back into a Honda....Ive had 3 ek's and always wanted an EF, so I saw this on here and snapped it up.....Opinions welcome:

Spec:

Suspension/Handling/Wheels:

14" Wedsport kurage wheels
4 new Nankang tires 185/55/r14
Lowered 40mm on Weitec springs
Aftermarket shocks
Anti roll bars
Poly bushed
Drilled and grooved discs
Rear tenzo R strut brace
Password JDM C pillar brace

Interior:
Power steering
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Air conditioning
Nardi steering wheel
Full EF9 siR interior
Black dashboard
Indiglo clocks
Winsport full dash dodger roll cage
Rare Honda Primo mats
Sony xplod radio
Pioneer speaker
Black parcel shelf
Clifford alarm and immobiliser

Exterior:
Jap Facelift model with very rare yellow Stanley foglights ( factory option )
Amber corner lights
siR spoiler with 3rd brake light
siR front and rear lips
special edition Bronze Glass all round

Overall Im thrilled with it, just a few little touch up's and it will be mint!

Today was the first dry day since I picked it up so I took advantage by giving her a good polish and a couple of coats of high definition wax.!

I also painted all the wiper arms as they were all discoloured and corroded

Am thinking of refurbing the wheel centres a different colour if anyone has any suggestions??

Decided to treat her to a new OMP Style Suade Deep Dish Steering Wheel, the nardi wheel that was in it was quite badly worn and I think this in a nice little addition
