Just wondering if anyone knows of any Honda Specialists around London? Or anyone local who could help out with a Mini-me conversion?

Easy.

Take Head off, Remove Center oil Jet, new head gasket, Wack head back on. Use D16z6 Water pump, Tensioner and Belt. Use the D16A7 inlet and exhaust (bolt right on - or use the Z6 inlet)

Get a P28 ECU and Distributer off an EG ESI (with the D16Z6). Buy an OBD0-OBD1 ECU Conversion harness. Plug it in, Use the supplied Sub-Harness to wire in VTEC and 4 wire 02 Sensor and Re-wire the Distributer plug (or If you get a Fancy one, like Rywire - Its plug and play, no extra wiring or plugs needed for both ECU and Dizzy)

Right!

I have the head. Can do the oil jet. Can do the head gasket - from what I've read is that I should go for the Z6 gasket. Water pump - I'll have a look but is this normally on the head? Tensioner and Belt - Not sure if there's a Honda aftermarket parts specialist - can anyone recommend? Inlet and exhaust.

I'll start looking for the other stuff!!!

Cheers Giz

Z6 or a Y8 Head gasket. Id match the Belt, Pump and Tensioner to the head just to be safe. Pattern parts will be fine. you will have to use the D16a7 Exhaust off the Original engine to clear the transfer box, unless you cut up an eBay special

Gizmo in the F*****G Zone 8)

Love the shuttle dude, for the timing belt kit - Gates are good. Pump - ADL Blueprint. No need to be a specialist Honda supplier any good local arts place should have those. Euro car parts i believe you have down south.

I've finally had the last couple of weeks to work on the Wagon, first of all I took some pics just for the archive really and I just had it washed at the time woohoo!

Smooth booty. So tempted to sticker it up but I like the simplicity of it and the only sticker that is there is the Speedhunters one... which I love!

First thing I did was change the speakers, now it sounded pretty good but there were some connection problems and I think I may have blown one, so I decided to plump for some Hertz. They do sound great and can take a good base beating but can handle the mid range pretty well too! One slight problem I did find is now my front windows do not roll all the way down anymore so I'll have to make frames to bring the speakers out a little more.

I also got off my lazy A$$ and gave a quick rub down and spray of the Watanabe's I had in the garage. I'd really like to split them properly at some point but for now these will do:

On the Wagon:

Last week I received an rear upper strut brace from eBay. Was a bit of a pig to fit to be honest and I wasn't thinking straight (Saturday, recover from Friday mode!) Firstly it was too wide, even with winding the ends all the way in. So for some reason I thought it was a good idea to take the ends off then grind off some metal from each end so that I could get clearance to wind the nut further into the strut. That totally didn't work and 2 hours wasted, by this time I was thinking I should've bought a proper named strut brace. In the end I figured to take off both locking nuts from each end and voila it fit!

Overall really happy with it actually I was thinking about the C-Pillar strut but the thought of constantly looking at it from the rear view mirror put me off and the fact that people would probably freak out when they take a ride in the back seat! The Wagon definitely feels tighter when giving it some beans on a bend, it doesn't flex as it did so it feels more planted. I think it's a real good purchase for the Wagon and it's extended booty!

Lastly I took these shots which are my fav so far. The knob is cold in the morning so used two Innocent Smoothy Drink wolly hats!

Image

Then this shot from the front that shows the blue fade strip (which was the first addition). It's such a big A$$ window I needed some kind of shade and I thought this was the way to go. I also like the idea of putting a sticker on the top of the boot, facing forwards, posing, like a bawse...

Cheers mate, unfortunately I can't take the credit for the calipers or bodywork but I want to keep the standard as high as possible. Might be difficult as a daily driver but I'll be adding a few more details as I go along.

Haven't done anything to the Shuttle as of late as it's been far too cold. I did pick up some SSR Mk. 3's, initially for the Mazda but they have the same PCD as the Honda so may try them on for the summer.

I did however pick up the camera after a long while as I need to practice and try out some new shots and generally experiment, so I put this together yesterday:
