My last car was a DC2, but I have an EK aswell as the EE9.

I have had loads of cars in my time... around 50!

New plugs in and gaskets replaced on exhaust, also fitted new bigger decat, so all ready for Blyton tomorrow, cant wait!

Bit of an anti climax today at Blyton, got a feel for the track in my 1st session, was better than I expected being an airfield type venue. 2nd session all going well, getting past most stuff until going from 3rd to 4th on the back straight I lose all drive along with some gearbox noise.... cruise to a stop off the track, cant get any gears at 1st, finally get 1st but its hard to pull away, lots of juddering etc.... get it back to the pits, let it cool down, gears are hard to select and juddering is still there along with a srong smell of burning clutch, so have to call it a day. Decide to stay and watch until lunch then limp the car home.... get about 15 miles from home, go to set off and ITS FINE, back to normal!

We think the release bearing jammed in the clutch splines and on the journey home it wore them away, releasing the the bearing again, so the clutch operated as normal again.

Bottom line is I need a new clutch, but at least I can get to work this week!

Still had a good laugh tho plenty of Hondas to watch, good times.

Yeah still the same old b16 ploughing on.... its nearly at 183k now!

The exhaust note really is great, I love it.

Thanks for comments, it does go very well, I will be getting it mapped when funds allow so I think there is more in it, also have N1 crank pulley to go on.

Big plans for it next yr, to make it more track focused.

Great pictures Ernie, car is looking good, and you are having great fun. We are doing the B18 engine swap over the winter for our GL drag car.
Loads of mods to do, need it ready for April
