Re: ee9 wheel bearings
and they're not the same there are 2 different types of wheel bearing iD is slightly smaller on one but I know sim auto have them both. Some VT and eg bearings have the same ID 42mm (ithink) My wheel flanges didn't fit as their diameter was too small. also just seen how old this post is......

Re: ee9 wheel bearings
Confirm that they are different.
They are however the same as an early prelude. So sometimes you'll get lucky with new old stock.
Further details on CRX-UK
Tehre is a lot of cross referncing to do and you'll find a cheaper part.
I'm doing this with the shuttle at the minute. The NTN bearing which I have a part number for seems to be untraceable. But it's got the same diamensions as those used on other vehicles with different part numbers.
Measure and search is the best way forward. inner dia, outer dia and height.

Re: ee9 wheel bearings
I've got a very mysterious set of hubs that come with VT calipers and 262 but the the wheel flanges are too small for the bearings that fit the hubs. And the other bearings that fit the wheel flanges are too small for the hubs. So I am currently at a loss to what I have. Unfortunately the mechanic didn't keep the old bearings.
I have been using this site
http://seekpart24.com/search?q=wheel+bearing&at=3902" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
as it is one of the few that give ID and OD. If anyone has any suggestion at all please feel free to let me know.

Re: ee9 wheel bearings
Measure the ID of the bearing recess in the hub and the OD of the flanges/spindles that would fit into the bearings.
I have stripped VT hubs here with correct parts on both sides.
