It's all back on again.
Here is a piccy update:
So a little bit of bodywork to be done once it all works right.
Usual places. Damn the British weather.
Smaller wheel on now that the PAS is working.
Compression joint between B series take off pipe from MB6 pump and the standard D chassis PAS high pressure line.
New rad support in for the EG style rad & view of the cross member (I'll show the pics of how far out of alignment that was when I get them off the other phone)
Angle steel strong enough to jack up the front end on.
Sits in the same vertical location as the stock radiator (tho MUCH taller), and allows a bucket load of room to fit in this puppy:
Got a problem with the idler pulley. Anyone got a lathe and fancy me to be in their debt?
Samco is on the way.
HID's are fitted - waiting for matching sidelights.
Outlet from the SC is built, need to add the mounting points for the intercooler and build the inlet.
Filter will sit in the gap to the right of the rad with a heatshield.
Got a P28 to convert to take the S300 and fit the 450cc injectors.
I guess that'll be the next update.

M62 (M63 depending on whom you ask - magnetic clutch) from a 230CLK.
Got a CRV crank pulley in those pics cos it's bigger
Should do 9psi, expect it to run out of puff at the top end (engine needs more air than the charger can provide!) but only tuning will tell for sure.
Expect it to make about 240bhp. Nothing special really. It's just about doing it because it's different.
The charger might actually be better suited to running with a B16 engine due to the top end. If it is a problem then I'll swap in one of those and try that instead. Would certainly help with bonnet clearance !!
Cant really tell much of the mounts. The passenger side one is basically stock VT engine mount with the chassis metal pushed into place. Chopping it off and welding the real VT chassis mount would be more elegant, but this works. I have some Hasport hydro mounts just in case I change my mind later. But after poly filling them whilst fitted to the car it's not hitting the bonnet under load. It needs more poly (remove from car, rinse and repeat) and possible a torque damper on the back of the engine to suit.
I'd advise NOT trying to put a B18 into a sedan unless you want a hard life

Boost piping will be 50mm. No need to be any bigger. Got a couple of SARD bov's to try out on it as well if I can prise one of them outta Nick's hands as it's currently on his S2000SC.

Yeah. Thought I'd build it with the CRV pulley just it case it might work with it
I've got three different sized pulleys here off of different B series that will work with it.
Too big of a pulley and it just turns into a heat pump. Especially since it's spinning backwards to how it was designed to fit the CLK.
But that makes it more noisey

Samco knock off arrived today. Billy bargin, 6 of 90deg bends for 30 shipped from HK.
Already got an adapter from 51mm to the intake manifold - rescued from the disAstra before it RIP.
Got the BOV pipe too, so just need to get fitting, try to avoid the mess around the distributor where everything seems to want to be routed through! and then weld up brackets for the intercooler to mount on.
Also made some rubber fittings to sit the radiator into the angle iron so it's got room to squiggle.
More pics when I've got the IC plumbed in.
No time to fit as have been cutting down trees and burning them all day.

Turns out the BOV silicone pipe is too small.
Mucho boiling of the silicone later, fairy liquid, and I've got the bugger on.
Had to do the same for the intake silicone. Test fitted and trimmed the pipes to the IC.
Welding after a few pints however is not advised...

Finished killing trees and have filled the trenches back in again.
Ordered a load of stuff from ebay to finish off the exhaust manifold and mate it up to a new system.
Still unsure about 2.5" or 3" system. Going to run the 2.5" first and see how it goes. - it's crush bent from the rear arm to the exit but not terriblely so.
If the weather holds (WTF is with July?!?) then fingers crossed the IC will be mounted, SC transferred across for test fit and manifold done too.
