More updates on the Wheels.

When painted in the past, the barrel hasnt masked, so it was painted. I started wire wheeling it, but started to damage a bit of the barrel, so decided to strip the paint instead.

£27 a Gallon. The same, if not better than the OLD style nitromorz that you could get years ago. Not the S*!t they sell today.

After a single coat / 10 minutes

Tried to fit the bucket seat again today, Failed miserably again. I need some 2" Wide steel and some 5mm spacers. Damn recaro was easy, 2 holes drilled done.

So, decided to fit the harness instead.

3rd attempt. Went in first time!

Seating position isn't bad. Its "slightly" higher. I can lower it another 10mm, but thats basically welding the seat to the rails. which i really don't want to do

Tidied up my distributer wiring today, Im hope to fix my ever annoying CEL Code 9.

To which it doesnt. Seems the fault it more terminal, so i think the next step is to take a new wire direct from the Dizzy to ECU.

Also tidied up my Bucket seat mounts, Added some washers, Painted some bits. Looks better now.

Also cleaned it for a local show.

Hes got a good bonnet, i know. its 5 hours away, and i doubt couriers will treat it well :(

I just scrubbed down the paint on the old wings just to tidy it up for Jae 2011. Was never ment to be a Perma Fix.

The Roof-Job, Again, a quick JAE Fix. the roof is heavily faded, and it really does but the car to shame, aswell as the bonnet. Im holding out atm, as i have a 16i buldge that will be grafted in - hopefully for JAE 2012.

Finally sorted my rear camber adjusters. Didn't realize they were meant to have locks nuts, so they kept increase in negative camber

So, finally found the right nut size, M16x2mm (As found on Towballs)

Image

Now, my camber is the same all round, looks alot better.

Next is to sort the right height, as its way off.
