I did insure my ed7 under a classic car policy as it was over 20 years old however it does vary from company to company. Most insist on it being 25+ years old to qualify.
Bear in mind though that you cannot accumulate no claims bonus under a classic car policy. This is what my insurance company told me anyway!

Re: Insurance
Guys, classic insurance is more about YOU than the car, there are many different classic insurers and a variety of polcies available but for most you need to be aged 30 or over, it must be a second car, limited mileage, no commuting, garaged etc
I hope that helps

Re: Insurance
Understood Ollie but my quotes are coming out at like 3 grand +.. I live in a good area I have no accidents or claims I have 4 years driving expierience (no, no claims because I've been using a traders policy and they have decided after 2 years I'm too young to be on it..).
I'm really at a loss as to what I an do. I paid 2k when I first passed on a vt.. Now I'm older have more
Expierience it's nearly double it started with.
I think I have been insured with you guys befor I jumped onto the traders. Was happy with the prices and services.. Any ideas?
I need a policy for a least the next 2 years until I can jump back on the traders policy. It's either that or get a motorbike for that duration.
