sab's ee9. Nardi steering wheel and jdm sir bumper
Thought I’ll get a project thread rolling as I didn’t have one before
I’ll start of briefly with my 1st ee9 purchase, came like this
I had it re-sprayed arches and sills replaced, lip wheels etc and it looked like this
and then had a accident. Car was wrote off, the lad was coming too fast and just couldn’t stop his car, so he ended up in the back of mine. This was the damage
Was contemplating whether or not to repair it and put it back on the road, so now it’s just sitting in my garden.
Anyways I purchased a ek with a good friend of mine, ended up taking the car of him. it has a decent spec on it.il get the spec of this up later
wanted to get back into a ef again, been searching for ages for a half decent ef but could find one that I liked, and then one just landed in the mot garage that i work at, out the blue. Came in for a mot, was shocked to see it so I just had to have it.
Totally standard ee9, 63000 miles has 1 owners, full service history. car has a few rust patches but surface rust. car is solid, engine bay it mint and underneath the engine is so clean, no oil leaks nothing. jacking points are all solid etc. just the one picture at the moment will get some more.
Right my plans
I initially wanted to build a track day ef, stripped out, cage etc. So my plans where to take everything out of the ek and put it all into a ef. Engine, box, brakes etc.
But now I’m just thinking I should just get the body work sorted and leave it the way it is. But I don’t know.

Re: sab's ee9
IMO dude, you should reshell the crashed one into a DX or GL and track it. It will get a battering on track anyway!
The other you should restore it! There are hardly any standard examples out there anymore, and it would be a shame to waste it. It looks mint already lol.

Is the other one that one that Honda Solihull took in PX?
I would also reshell the candy red one into a DX/GL shell and give it maximum death on track.
