EG ESI Hatch Vs. MB6??

Post by Soldier456 »

Hey guys, Got a set of Meister R Coilys in my cupboard, and an MB6 on the drive for them to go onto. Now i'm having cold feet on the choice of car. It is between 2... ESI or MB6! Which one would you invest time and money in, and fit the meister R's to?? Im a bit concerned I will get tierd of the power to weight ratio of the MB6. Would completely stripping the rear make a big difference? I want something fun to drive!!

The eg will take the b18, mb6 mounts, hubs, brakes, sharfts etc straight over. Youve got a p28 in the esi, so get it socketed and chipped and you are off.

= use both to make the best car.

EG ESi for me.

MB6 is just a barge that drinks and doesn't move. IMO.

Nearly did this, but I dont have the room to do the swap, and not prepared to pay someone to do it, as it is probably the easiest big engine conversion to do!

EG esi with turbo. Z6 turbos are just as good as b16 turbos, and are loads cheaper. Bit easier to do than a engine swap if you find a complete kit.

Esi for sure ;) although I do have a soft spot for the MB6 and would love to see a properly sorted one and not just chavvy japfest special S*!t
D16a9 Powered dream machine!

No greater fun then backing off the throttle at 7400rpm and spraying fire out the exhaust ;)
