Marc_EE9 wrote:It will be custom, of course. I should of had it done already, but as I have a 3" system Daz had to put a generic base map on, for the moment. I am getting a road tune done on Tuesday hopefully, after the exhaust is done.
Sweet! :top: what figures you hopefully looking for??

No idea, I've been told it will be around 195bhp.

I've just realised I forgot to take the OE vent out and pipe from the t-bar...

I was going to say I'll do it today, but no car :(

Induction system looks very nice Marc. I'm guessing you haven't revved her out with it yet, but I can tell you that you will love the sound it makes, vtec crossover is really loud with them too.

Sucks that you have to wait until Wed, but it will be worth it.

I didn't like how mine looked with it removed, to me it just looks wrong with a big gap, so I cut mine just below where it goes through, still looks like its there but saves me weight as the rest of the system is removed.

Yeh I removed it last time I had an induction kit and it does look odd. I thought about just making a perspex plate to screw down and paint it white or black. I'd rather it was all removed though instead of leaving just the vent bit. A shame you can't incorporate it into the system.

Just do what I did, it weighs next to nothing but still looks as good as it should. That is unless you plan to run a stock airbox again at some point.

I won't cut anything, I may just leave the grill bit in, but will make a little plate and see how it looks.

Picked up some front LCA's with new E.S bushes pressed in ready to roll, I will try and fit these on Friday at my mates work, as the front end really knocks about now, this is long over-due.

Good little upgrade that.

My front end used to have a little knock, after stripping it down completely last year I put it down to the front LCA bushes, 2 of them were long gone.

Do you have Energy bushes in your front cross member, if not, go for them, make a big difference.

I don't no, was going to get an aftermarket cross member at some point. I love how my car handles at the moment, especially with the RNR's on! I just need that front strut brace to turn up and I'll reset the height and prehaps splash out for a full geometry setup.

The front cross member bushes are not that dear and will help A LOT, especially with getting off the line.

It is a cheap traction bar mod ;)

Exhaust done.
Tune done.
9000rpm done.

:o 8)

Left my house at 9:30, got to the train station in time, got my first two trains all good, but my connecting train at Oxford arrived later as it stopped so many times, and I missed my train to Bicester by 10 minutes, and the next one wasn't for another 2 hours, so I gave the guys a ring and one of them came to pick me up from Oxford, which was very nice of him to do so. He has a 207 1.6 Turbo, which was quite pokey.

I will get some more photos tomorrow, but heres the tailpipe. It sticks out a little bit more than my old one, but I think I prefer it...

Then I went to see Daz at the new premises. Wasn't hard to find, as there was around 20 Honda's (mainly CRX's) parked up the road. Saw 2b4u's H2B EE9. 8)

We went for a tune in the afternoon and fiddled about for an hour or so, which was fun.

All in all, a very productive day.
I had the 3" system in the car so didn't want to over-do it in corners, but I'm now off out to fully test it, and the gearbox/LSD. I knew about the 3rd gear crunch, and it is quite bad. So that elimates me being able to vtec in 2nd, which is a crucial gear TBH. Four gear also feels like it might crunch but doesn't. I wouldn't mind fitting another box before I go, and send mine off for an overhaul while I'm away....
