You think?
They are good to me. Last time round they passed even though it should of failed on RTA bushes.

And this time round, one tyre is 1.6mm, and they usually fail you at 2mm.

Odd tyres fitted? Is every car expected to have matching tyres then?

you cannot be failed at 2mm as the tyre is still legal in terms of tread depth.

That mot is not too bad really in the grand scheme of things but....... considering the stunning condition of your car it should never fail on anything ;)

No greater fun then backing off the throttle at 7400rpm and spraying fire out the exhaust ;)

The only one that I'm bothered with, that is a proper advisory to me is the bushes :P
The rest is nothing really. Headlights they sorted, getting a new tyre tomorrow first thing, slightly tight steering I think was down to a low tyre, pressure and tread, exhaust is getting changed soon (thank god, its much louder with the B16B), parking brake I've known about, I need a new cable as it's stretched from a sticky caliper.

The thing about "misting of oil on shock absorber"... I'm not sure. I can't see them leaking, as they are only about 2 years old and only done about 6k. I think it might of been WD40 or something... I will investigate tomorrow.

What a load of bollocks these advisories are:

Nearside front headlamp aim too high
Offside front headlamp aim too high and too far to the right
Exhaust noisy
Steering system slighty tight
Odd tyres fitted
Front and rear suspension lowered

Good job on passing though :top:

Yes but all MOT garages round here adjust them and then test, it takes 2 mins to adjust them ffs!

Did they charge for adjusting them?

The shocks aren't leaking, I suspect it's WD40 or LM grease.

Steering... not so tight now I have new tyres on the front.
