Thanks Sam! :top: you should definitely get another one. I loved your old one.

So I've gone to the dark side and bought a B20 Frankenstein engine. I got it for such a good price off a mate that I couldn't say no. It's a complete engine, B20B bottom end, B16A1 head and it 'may' have an uprated bottom end. There's a rolling road printout from a while ago for 185bhp and around 145lb ft of torque. Also ran a 13.3 at York raceway last year when it was in a crx.

It won't be going in for a good while yet as I need to source conversion mounts, a gearbox, shafts, vt hubs and brakes etc plus I'm going to give the engine a good once over before I drop it in. I'm going to hopefully get the A9 running again this weekend. Ordered a cambelt kit and water pump so fingers crossed she runs. 8)

Thanks Louis :top: Yes mate I sold it about a week after the dyno day at Eurospec. I had a really clean Evo 3 for a while but came back to 4G ownership. It's the only way! 8)

Also picked up a Y2 box which is from my old CRX VT and its a good one. I won't be dropping the engine in for a few months yet as I want to clean and paint the engine and gearbox plus fit a new cambelt, tensioner, water pump, new plugs and leads, a new clutch plus I still need conversion mounts, front traction bar and some driveshafts. Still it's something to aim for for the summer!

Should be fun! It's a good strong engine and rumour has it that the bottom end has been uprated however there are no receipts for any work done so I'm going to assume its standard until I can prove otherwise. I thought the power and torque figures were pretty good considering it's basically a standard B16A1 head.

I'm painting it silver but I will also get the engine bay painted before it gets dropped in.
