Brake bind

Casual cruisin yesterday and wen turn the round corner notice a noise sounding like brakes binding only on drivers side it seems and only seems to be doin it now and the wen it decides to look at brakes all seems okay any help would be appreciated, also nasty clunck/ knockin comin from passenger side wen goin over bumps, it's on gmax coilovers and again checked ball joints, arms and all that and seems okay any1 got any shouts

I assume the noise coming from the front ?

How new are the coliovers?? As for the binding sound have ya checked to see if the dust cover is rubbing off the back of the disk??
If its not broken fook about with it till it is or ya make it better!

Yea checked Sheild seems okay coilovers r bit old but were okay wen put on dampen etc only thing I can c is that the coil is not quite sat in the top mount rite but not convinced it's that will jack the car up over wkend and have a nother poke around and tweak spring, if not might be one of those drive it out problems lol cheers guys o will check bearing might be a gd shout

Sticky calipers or pads can sometimes cause a slight binding when turning corners.

It can be down to heat and the minimal swelling of the metal.

Re; knocking, check your bushes. Also see if theres any leaks on the shock. To check your shock, just whip it off and push it down by hand, see if it comes back up.

Yea will be on that this wkend and c wats goin on down there got vt hubs on front so wonder if I f anythin up wen swap been okay for bout 3k so f knows cheers guys let ya know if I find anytin

Callum,

I had this on the civic can't remember where though.

Just take the pads out and clean where the retaining spring things sit and make sure the pads are free.

Cheers Johnny, dont think that was problem though!
Just had the calipers off and all it was was the low pad warning metal. Make a f*cking racket!
So i just chopped the bit if metal on the pad off as new ones are going in very soon anyway
