So I went and got the car Friday night...

Put her together some and drove it to work Saturday.

Got home, Continued to reassemble. Took a break, walked back out to find this...
Image

That's not a cut or scratch. The paint actually cracked and started receding worse than a forty year old hair line!

Sunday...

I had to to take her back Monday. I am patiently waiting for updates and results. Get you some when I can. =(

After goin to shows and some local meets lately I've come to a breaking point... I'm going to start tearing the ol'girl down before too long and she'll be going under a pretty heavy knife. I'll be tearing it apart and weeding out all the messed up and just S*!t that's pissin me off, starting with that fucked up paint job!

Image

This is what I'm lookin to get now to replace them with. Still haven't decided what color I'll be going with on the car (no green or yellows) now that I'm kinda wore out on the red but who knows at this point (I may just go back to the Panda paint job). I'll be doing everything right this time though. No more short cuts. I'll be hitting up RyWire for an entire tucked harness and saving up to convert to the OBD-I injectors so that all the OBD-I conversion is complete. I'll be lookin to shave and tuck the bay, not really worried about the brake lines so I'll just leave those alone. So after the new year look for a new pick-up car so I can gently put the hatch down and we will start the process of makin this bitch show worthy. The RIGHT WAY!!!
