Irish 3G
Heres my 3rd AG Civic
1.3 12v
1986
One owner from new I picked it up around July
Has 122k Miles
TB and Clutch were done at 118k Miles
Since I got it I
-Done a full service
-Did a full coolant system flush and new thermostat cause the hearet matrix was blocked so had no heaters was looking like it was going to be cold for winter but sorted now
-The exhaust had a few hole sin in but kept putting it on the long fingee until it fell off one day when it broke by the centre box.. Welded up and sorted now
-The aerial was broke too so went to swap the off the 35m EF2 I have ended up I had to re run the whole aerial up the pillar and all that still a bit shite but putting that down to using the original radio and speakers
-New passengers door glass just fitted today cause some prick broke into it the other night and went to rob my tools, wallet and camera out of it when it was parked up in work but caught the c@^t.. Still the glass cost me €75
That was all the standard stuff Ive done to it
So decided to add a few small bits
14" Black Racing Alloys
Nardi Classic Steering Wheel
Recaro Fishnet Drivers Seat
Karo Chequred mats
Have a few more plans for it will update as I go along..Loving it as my new daily driver

Yea torsion bar will be getting wound down and saw on RPR that DC5 rear springs are similar to the rears so have a set found for cutting.. Hope it doesnt need an adjustable panhard rod

Re: Irish 3G
On occasion you may have to get a adjustable panard cause I lowerd mine and my wheels draged to the right side more I think but it was pretty low. So may depend how low you go. Looks nice though what's the plans?

Nice looking 3g man
A adjustable panhard bar wouldnt be too hard to make i was thinking of making one for mine, its just working up the courage to chop up the original to make it an adjustable one out of it

Re: Irish 3G
I was going to see if there was much of a difference between the 3g and AE86 panhard rods if there wasnt much Id attempt to butcher one of them first!
Dont know how low Ill go yet as its my daily driver..
Also spotted an immaculate one of these is Cork City saturday an 86 auto in a blue/silver colour looked to be in everday use too
Any one have a starter for one of theses too cause mine is leading up to let me down someday as it hesitates alot before turning over

Re: Irish 3G
Cool might get back too you on that so. I will of course leave it till it goes and be stuck for it in a few weeks
Oh and my new window I fitted was in an working fine then about 3days later it got stuck up Turnso out the clips that were "bonded" onto it to attach to the mechanisn just pulled off cause all the bonding had pushed out the side.. Lucky I kept the homemade clips off the last window so going to fit them now..
Also will be adding a EF8 CRX front lip they bolt onto all the existing holes and are almost OEM fit.. Ecactly the same and my sedan front
