Metro 6r4 Spoiler on a 4th Gen
One of the local photographers caught a great shot of my car with a Metro 6R4 trying to get up the inside. The results were, shall we say, interesting:
I think it actually looks rather good!

Re: Metro 6r4 Spoiler on a 4th Gen
The 6r4 was quicker over the lap, but not by a lot, Kens quickest lap was only a second quicker than mine. I did get the civic motoring on a bit though, I was nearly a second a lap quicker than my class rivals but couldn't capitalise on it and had to settle for a 3rd and 2nd.Tahir wrote:Pete, what were you like up against the 6R4?
Just wondering what to do with it for next year now. The engines had 4 years of pure racing thrash with the odd trackday thrown in. Its still got good compression, doesn't use a drop of oil and makes reasonable power. I'm thinking about rebuilding it, but it could be a case of, if it aint broke etc. I do fancy a power upgrade though!

Possibly, or even a jump to 2.0 litre!Tahir wrote:Some bigger cams, a skim and a remap?
I have no idea though, my mind changes every day. Just going to save some money for now and see what I can accumulate.
