Dash will work door cards are looking iffy unless i go to powerwindow setup which i didn`t want to do but might do down the line when the cars more complete for now ef door cards are back on seem to work with the dash aswell and look better with all the rear plastics just need to make them black if i`m using them
cheers for the comments all

bryan bryan bryan   its fairly bad start cutting the roth out the other night needs some reconstructive surgery now, rust is right round the inner arch where it meets the rear 1/4

Be an update with some pics of it later

Few pics of the rear passanger arch`s rust problems, Its all been cut out since the pics

Inner arch seems to be causing the rear 1/4 to rust from the inside so cutting out all the roth treating what metal is left there hopefully should stop it rusting

Strange spot for rust but had to be treated aswell so cut it out and patched it up

Image

Rust cut away

Image

Gearbox mount didn`t seem to solid with just two bolts holding it in so for safety`s sake that was welded in and a few holes that aren`t needed where filled in the bay

Started making templates and cutting new pieces of metal last night forgot the camera so will put up some pics later of that progress

So little body work again after welding in the gearbox mount that needed dressing as want to make the mount look ome and paint it with rest of bay so started smoothing all the weld`s down looking a bit better still a bit to get 100 per cent

Image

So the rear passanger arch was bad as you`s could see in the last post so after a chop a template and some welding it`s looking like this now needs dressing but better than a massive hole in the arch

Image

The little spot on the window has been cut and replaced with new rust free metal

Image

Will update with progress as i go got bugger all done this week due to lots of drinking and hangovers :(

Cheers man trying to get the body 100 per cent so can get on with paint side of things and not find rust bubbles after a new paint job

next few bits will be finish rust repair then sort cable shifter and drop the motor back out to sort the bay for final seem welding + plugging unwanted holes in the bay make recess for alt belt and get my esp alt bracket dont fancy chopping up headlight surround for my alternator so hoping they will sort the problem
