Thats not true weigh just little more than a B series just gearbox is bit poo, as im in the middle of putting h22 in my hatch bit of a nightmare using the h22 gearbox.
If i was to do it again id got h2b and they seem to make good number with little mods :D

Intake fouls the firewall IIRC!

Which leads to the TPS breaking off under harsh gear changes

Or a box welded into the bulkhead, like weber boxes on mini's.

Thanks for all the imput

I have bought an import prelude with manual box and am going to pop it in the ed7 when my mounts arrive from the good old US of A lol.

I am going to box the bulkhead to get over the tps drama.

Have a good read of that.
There the mounts that im using dont there doesnt seem to be any problem with the intake hitting the fire wall.

with battery in the boot after market exhaust mani will be alot lighter and running no PAS or Aircon shouldent be mega front end heavy, good bang for buck ratio

still rather k24 bottom end with k20 head though heard good things about that setup

h2b is the way forward, B series box transforms the engine.

I'm building a H2b CRX at the mo... ( well gathering the bits...) ;)

245bhp with boltons... who needs K series... :)

x3 and not really that much better than a well spec'd up B so i dont see the point :| The amount it cost to build a K series civic would build a monster B :twisted:
