I dont think there is any doubt that Walshie will beat me at least he should with around 15bhp extra to start with, he has a D15, DX with bike carbs I have a lowly D14 on stock carbs :P

In % power increase the Bismoto cam does not yeild a massive ammount - what it does though is improve the power delivery characteristics hugely :twisted:

The car i am most afraid of is Peters, he has done it all right so far getting the basics spot on :wink:

I just keep quite...lurk in the background, and will surprise all at the right, perfect, given moment! :lol:
It has to be said though...Ed...your Bisi cam is awesome! That is gonna be a tough one to beat...D14/D15 wise!

Some time soon we should have rolling road session there are a few local to you that have a DD set up, compare the 2 cars :wink:

Awsome, would love a set of bike carbs on mine! Much of a difference with them on? Driveability any worse? Any ideas what power figure its running?

Sorry for all the questions, just really interested in your little project!

So I managed to fit suzuki bandit 1200 carbs, mikuni 600 carbs, and then standard keihin carbs.

All in 6 wasted hours after work and in the dark.

Yes bud a pretty big difference soon as you hit the throttle its off no messing, acceleration is crazy :shock: The driveability for a daily not so good as its much harder to control the revs due to having less pedal movement. Also uses ALOT of petrol :shock:

Power figure i dont know probably around 130 maybe more.


HOw come Joe what happened ?

Did it turn over and just not fire up ?
