What, real splits!?!?! thought the axis wheels were fake splits (not that there's anything wrong with that!)
Will look sick and fit with your USDM theme, 8x15 et10's yeah?

pretty sure they're 1 piece tho mate, are you getting them in this country or importing them?

a place local to me (wheel power devon) have recently become dealers for axis/ OG, and they have silly cheap deals on them.... if they still have stock!

i have some 17mm hubcentric spacers that would get the rears sitting sweet, for sale if you want them...

Re: PROJECT POS - 4 door Civic EF Saloon - ACCIDENT DAMAGE!!

Post by flatliner »

didn't have a great day yesterday, was on my way to a local car meet (mainly VW's but alsorts always turns up) when an uninsured driver pulled out on me not looking, i had to swerve and basically overtake him to avoid rear ending his car, and when i was alongside him he drove into me!!!!
Image
Door looks pretty bent, the plastic trim is broken (not sure if it's repairable), scratches the length of the car, snapped off the kerb feeler, steering is well off centre... basically i'm well fucked off, got to pay for it all myself and my car looks worse than before. it did look kinda ratty, now it just looks like a £50 shed!!! and this was the good side :x
though the rest of the day and the meet was really good, which helped cheer me up

i was in quite a rage after this happened, so didn't even think to get the reg number... this happened only 100metres or so from my house, and i recognise the guy in the car, think he lives just up the road, probably his driveway he was pulling out of... he's proper mental, walks round most of the time talking to himself or anyone who'll listens, with two backpacks, one on his front, one on his back, with crutches but not using them??? his car is literally full of rubbish and old magazines and newspapers, up to the tops of the doors, comes across as real 'special' case if you know what i mean!? i'm gonna take a walk up the road and find his car, get the reg and then inform the police... i doubt it's even registered to him... can't see much happening, well not much that will help me out....

anyone else had a similar experience???

If the cops wont help then sue him privately.
You'll need a witness or CCTV I'd imagine.

Unfortunately, I really doubt won't be any CCTV in that road, there was one witness.... a homeless guy, not exactly easy to contact haha. Maybe able to sue him, but by the looks of it he has no money (maybe he's minted tho) so wouldn't that end up costing me money??

yeah that is the plan, need to get his reg and maybe his address first, can't hurt to try.... but won't the insurance want to write my car off?? uneconomical repair an' all....
