Re: Flat Tire EF/ED7 build
Alright! Had a friend of mine drop off some random parts last weekend. He was cleanin out his garage and this was one of those nice lil finds! He offered it to me for my B16 cover plus the $40 I'll need to coat this one. I know it's fake but it still looks nice.
I don't really care for the yellow, so I got to taking care of the immediately this morning.
...and there it goes!
I already checked it out at the house and since it is just paint, sitting in the vat for a few hours should reward me with a stripped valve cover that'll be just beggin to be powder-coated red! :bang:
I'll keep you all posted on the progress!

Ah... The wiring...The most frustrating and tedious action performed on this engine yet! Lol!
I'm sure you've all been waiting for these. I introduce to you the re-routed injector loom!
The alternator and oil and fan switches...
Most of the main harness. Dizzy, head sensors, and what-not.
This is just a taste of what's left. I'll be going to the junkyard this weekend and I'm gonna try and find a plug with the ability to accept five more circuits so that I can run the VTEC functions, knock sensor, and extra O2 independently so that I can keep track of them when they enter the cabin.
Oooohh Looky what I got yesterday! It's so purdy!
Now it's even purdy-er! LMAO!
Here's one I forgot to put up Wednesday before the Holiday.

Alright Ladies and Gents! At this point you are now all caught up! With the holidays coming though, expect things to slow down. Christmas is just around the corner, plus I'm also losing my house, and in the process of moving, so if you'll give me some patience I promise it will be rewarded. As for the wiring... I hope to finish that soon! Geh, that stuff is killin me!! LOL! Nah, it isn't that bad. Just very tediuos is all. It doesn't help that I'm very meticulous either! LOL!

Can you get hold of Mil-Spec connectors easily?

I'm sorry. Not familiar with that term, Mil-spec. What is that?

Ugh...! This is killin me. I want this B-series done and I've just been so busy lately. I've been thinkin though, and I don't know if it would even work... Doing some head work for someone else to toss this B-series into my dang car! LOL! There's a big problem with that though... When I do the swap I'm plannin on stripping and taping as much of the engine bay as possible, and repainting the bay back to white, and tuckin the fuse box sitting on the right side shock tower. The car itself is about to turn ugly again because I've gotten a hold of some slightly better fenders and a better rear bumper cover. At the same time, I have no time because of the need to start packing stuff to move. Lol! I hate bein this busy! Really though, and this has always been my biggest problem, is finding someone I can trust to just do the job good and do it right. I hate goin back through and findin stuff that someone else just rigged up when all that needed to be done was a little more time investment. I dunno. Don't worry though, I'll get it all figured out!

Well here it is kiddies! No slackin this time and no excuses. SOHC Monsta D is comin out this weekend! So now I have no choice but to finish and install the B-series into the hatch. Why you ask...? Because I sold the D-series boy and girls!!! Yes that's right SOLD IT! HAHA! To my Oh-so-Fortunate friend Jb0ne! We'll be tearin down not only my hatch and pullin the motor from it BUT, yes there's more! We will be pulling his massively leaky D15 and installin the Super D into his DX CRX! My god that thing is gonna FLY! I will update with pics after the weekend, guys and gals! Stay tuned!!

And it starts like dis!
What the loom looked like before
My hatch, Jb0ne's Rex.
Here it comes!
Check that out! Intake ports looked like that after a few months of runnin every day! Still nice and shiny!
Friends don't let friend drive junk!
Here comes the fun!
^With my,'Oh I just s#!t myself' face! LOL!^
In ya go!
Still waiting...
I don't like winter...turns dark too fast!
Got the 'Monsta D' as we are now callin it dropped!
And I did a lil' work last night and the B is almost ready!
I guess those hoses don't kill it too bad... What do you think?
Transformed!
