Any one tried Uniroyal Rainsport 2's?

Post by Chris.p »

Looking at tyres at the moment, the uniroyal rainsports seem to have good reviews for the price, was wondering if any one on here had tried them?
the longer I own the 4g the harder it is to let go!

Jamcgee 11 is running the Uniroyal Rainexperts....very grippy in the wet and comfy tire...an ok all rounder....I can recommend them. As for the Rainsports, I suspect the Rainsports are a stiffer tire better suited to drier weather....they look a bit like Toyo Proxes...but I suspect they are a bit higher wearing. I personally can recommend the Falken 912's as a good all rounder...seem to be excellent in all weather so far....no idea on tire life yet though.

No greater fun then backing off the throttle at 7400rpm and spraying fire out the exhaust ;)

I've heard extremely good reviews for them aswell. When I get new wheels I plan to get some.

just bought a pair for £84, could of got them for £75 delivered off camskill.co.uk but there estimated dispatch was 5th December and a lot of people I spoke to said theres a shortage round the UK, and theres a shipment of Uniroyals delayed, I didnt want to risk it so paid an extra £10 for peace of mind.

Heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/195-50-15-UNIROYA ... 230bb14a81" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cheers for the advice guys, gave me the final push to hand over my bank details and get some tyres! been a bit slidy this last few weeks!
