long term GL project. Updates pg15
so i managed to aquire this 4G from my brother who bought it off a write off auction website, was a Cat D write off and needed a new bonnet, bumper and filler panel.
i managed to find a white bonnet to go on and did a quick spray job on it but had literally no paint lol. still need to find a straight bumper and filler panel.
i've had it for about 2 months now, havent got any pics of it when i got it due to having no camera, heres some pics as it stands:
it's got raceland coilies on, was about an inch lower all round but i've fitted a 4-2-1 mani and it hangs real low, scrapes everywhere!
also has a full custom stainless exhaust with a 2.5" exit, 2" mani to backbox.
my pissed front end.
the best bit about my car
also got my work cut out for me:
hopefully get them done soon, although i'm prcrasting fairly hard at the moment.
hope you enjoy, i've got a few ideas for it, just getting the moneys together to do stuff's the trouble.
it's my daily at the moment but itll be coming off the road through the winter for some work.

We'll deffo have to hook up and compare 4G's, especially considering my new exhaust looks similar.

You following me on forums again? lol. Looks clean mate, good base. How far down is that on the raceland coils mate? Idealy i'd like mine lower than that. Coinsidently i've got a similar set of wheels t go on mine although they're not splits. Gonna have a go at hand polishing the lips, i can see it taking a good while lol.

I reckon that's as far down as you'd get really, these have some different springs in that have the same sorta spring rate just shorter, I can go down about another 2-3 inches I reckon, just the manifold hangs so low at the moment.
The paintwork's in fairly good nick, gave it a couple going overs with red T cut, bees atleast 1 more good polish up.
Wheel centres will most likely go gloss black, unless anyone has any good suggestions?
