I want a cage but keeping the back seats also so wouldnt mind seeing how your doing yours. Do you intend on cutting the plastic and making it look nice or going all rough and ready ?

Like the idea of the cage, but where you are planning to re-arrange the mounting positions is not a load bearing area....You will need that whole area strengthened....which may possibly counter act your reasons for moving the legs/mount in the first place. You really need a professional cage outfitter to look at it.
