Hi all im new around here, just thought i would say you may see another 4g i16 civic around the south coast. Im from worthing and now have a J reg black civic.
Bought a few weeks ago, will tune up and work with what i have at the minute before bigger engine mods.

yeah seems quiet sound, needed welding on ends of both rear seals for mot. had been done but fillered over so looked mint, but rotten with the mot mans hammer!
Its got full service history from John Cooper garage in Ferring west sussex. So is all good.
Unsure on BHP of engine though? Its a twincam but not the b16. It has a black rocker cover. Looks similar to rover 216 twincam engine.

so then, this being my 1st civic, whats the next way fowards with these to get them quicker,handle and look better in general?
I had a sierra sapphire 2.0 before this, so im all new with jap stuff.
Btw saying about it being shiny, that was just a wash, its been laid up 2 years. Needs a good polish and wax. The 2 front door mouldings have gone grey and rest are black. Common problem?

Found yourself a clean i16
Yea its a common enough problem, the mouldings on the doors are coated with a thin layer of rubber which tends to fade, the rest of the mouldings are made of plastic so they dont usually fade.

Could anyone help me with a few bits on ebay? Im looking to buy airfilter kit, exhaust and manifold and strut braces. Also need rear axle bushes as these are separating. Anyone got a link of what they have bought or where i can on ebay etc? Just got paid so spending it before its wasted
