Heres my bit of info i can offer.
Due to you having a GL, you will first need to swap to FI, which will involve swapping the tank and fuel lines etc, no matter if you choose B series or K series!
B18 swap is much easier to do. Its been done loads of times before, and wont need much work or aftermarket parts to get it in and running if you will have a complete engine swap.
K20 swap will take alot more work, parts, time and money. For info on the swap, best place to start looking will be here.
http://www.k20a.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=20
Set yourself a budget of around £5k to get it done properly!
Roughly you will need.
Engine
Box
ECU + Kpro
Conversion engine mounts (Need welding in)
Conversion drive shafts
Conversion manifold
Wiring loom
Custom fuel lines
Cable to hydrolic clutch conversion
Along with lots of other bits n pieces if you wanna go all out!

What he said.
It will be a LOT of money to do properly, at least to my standards, theres no way I could K20 mine for £5k.
Theres a lot of stuff Wellz didn't list too, like traction bar, custom exhaust and all the small bits that will be needed to make it work properly.
On top of all that you'll also need a good brake setup and a good suspension setup aswell as making sure that any worn parts are replaced.
If I were to do it I would expect to spend about £8k.

You can run a stock front subframe if you want to chop parts out, and a stock exhaust system lol!Along with lots of other bits n pieces if you wanna go all out!

I don't see how he could do a Top job on that budget, he must earn almost nothing, do you have any idea how much work is involved to respray a whole car properly.johnboy9 wrote:duno which one to go for! the guy hu quoted me £300 is good tho and does a top job!
The paint could cost nearly £200 on its own

300 is a very low price for a full respray, but in that price is he including door shuts, boot, bonnet an engine bay id assume NOT!! I'm guessing he's qouted you for a full exterior coat!!
an I seriously doubt his paint cost 200
