glad 2 be aboard yea i swap it for my swift gti. just havin a few issues with it at the mo not sure wot the other bloke done to it but doesnt run 2 well.
back fires and spits flames thro carbs
wont rev more then 5000rpm
and splutters alot , o and wont do more than 95mph and drinks alot of petrol (20mpg)
summin aint right any help would be grate

wel sorta ive asked him and he said he hasnt done anything 2 it. when i got it it didnt have no air box just the grills were showing but it drove ok home(160mile).
i dont not much bout carb but do ya recon the jets might be blocked

Get some carb cleaner on them....and perhaps they need to be balanced. Try and get a regular airbox on there. Also, as above, check the timing. Have a look at our how tos and guides for further help.

k cheers but the thing is sometimes it wil run ok just been out and it ran ok just got some carb cleaner il give that ago

Sounds like the dizzy has been retarded.
Adjust the dizzy, if you look at it from the drivers side, rotate it Anti-Clockwise all the way.

how far should i turn it is there a point 2 stop at. cleaned carbs but they where clean already.
is there any1 round the norfork/suffolk area that i cound meet 2 get some help cheers

Literally Rotate the dizzy Anti-Clockwise till it stops because of the bolt, and bolt it back up.
Check the vacuum lines off the Dizzy aswell.
If not, im located in Skegness if you want me to take a look!
