Mate, im going to have to fit the other wheel bearing out side the parts place at 9/10 in mornin tomorrow, not looking forward to that!

Pics wise, I'm going to try and get car to tyre place tomorrow after fitting wheel bearing, throw the new wheels on and get the tracking done

Pics will be up then :)

Seriously wanting to spray my bonnet back to red!

its deffinetly lower but not majorly, the main things is its more level back to front.

How long does it normally take for spring to properly settle?

I was going to get tracking done tomorrow, do you think its worth waiting till suspension settles? it shouldn't make too much difference or will it effect the toe?

That snapped spring is scary  im not sure about the tracking but i would have said wait because as the suspension settles your will probably get abit lower which could change your tracking. I might be wrong though.

As it settles it could well alter the tracking very slightly. It could drop as much as another 10/15mm. No harm in getting it done twice though if you can find a cheap place. Depends if your tracking was already out before you swapped the suspension...if it was previously out then get it tracked....if it's good, wait a couple of weeks. I look forward to seeing the results.

cheers guys, got the tracking done, garage said they would do a free check in a few week after suspension settles

Fitted the other rear bearing/hub out side the parts place this morning!

Image

changed hub in about and hour with a phone call and roll up break which I was pleased with, then stupidly decided to replace the bolt for bottom of one of my rear shocks, needed one long enough which ended up taking fecking hours to do! couldn't get the new bolt back in the hole!

Anyway went to tyre place afterwards got new wheels fitted and tracking done :)

Si, pictures will follow soon didnt have time to wash car and it was dark by time I got back

serioulsly need at red bonnet and new rear bumper with black bump strip, thinking fresh re spray might be in order next year some time

cheers guys, it was a bit cowd! my leg was soaked afterwards.

Well heres the wheels, I've also noticed at the mo the rears dropped lower than back slightly, were as before the back was alot higher than front. I thinking this could either be one of 3 things:

A) Due to original front springs being nakard, front was alot lower
b) Because the front jamex springs are stiffer than rear, they haven't settled yet
c) There's a circlip on back shocks which you can set at 3 differnt hieghts, they come on the middle one, but you can make spring base/cup 20 mill higher or lower. Due to there being no instructions with kit I left it on middle.

I will wait and see if front settles, if not i might try moving the back ones up.

Has any one had the jamex 40 mil kit (dida?) and know which ring the circlip sits on back? bottom, middle, or top? or do i just leave in middle and wait for front to settle a bit? because front springs are quite solid

Anyway pics:
